- Things worked ok after installing the SP until all of a sudden
- disaster struck (of sorts): I can't convince OS/2 to shut down when I
- select the shut down option on the desktop. It says blahblah Do You
- wnat to shutdown? and I dutifully say Yes, at which point I am
- returned to the desktop. Nothing happens. Nada. I can do this for
- hours (or at least until I get this overpowering urge to spit on
- the computer) and it obligingly says OK and then sits there.
-
- What have I done (if anything ) and what can I do to fix this?

- P.S. Please don't tell me to reinstall, I really don't want to do
- that. I mean, if I really have to I guess that's ok, but I think I'd
- just as soon not know.
