  13. I am currently using an ATI Ultra in my pc.  I use the stock IBM 8514
  14. drivers for the wps and the ATI windows drivers for full screen
  15. windows sessions.  I installed the CSD with no problems.  I have two
  16. questions about the video drivers.

  18. 1.  There are still no 8514 seamless windows drivers yet.  Has IBM made an
  19. announcement concerning 8514 seamless windows drivers for the 32 bit
  20. graphics engine?  Recent postings in this group indicate that it will
  21. be awhile before ATI will have anything (if at all) for the ATI
  22. Graphics Ultra to run seamless windows sessions.

  24. 2.  When I start a windows application from the desktop, a full screen
  25. windows session is started and then the application is fired up.
  26. However, when I open a second windows application from the desktop, a
  27. second seperate windows session is started for the second app.  I only
  28. seem to be able to get around this by explicitly opening a full screen windows
  29. session from the desktop and then firing up each windows app from
  30. within the windows session.  How can I get a second windows app
  31. opened from the desktop to use the already opened full screen windows
  32. session started by the first app?  I have looked at the notebook
  33. settings for the windows apps and I can't seem to find any way to
  34. change this behavior.
