  21. I did try both priority options. None changed anything (of course, I
  22. rebooted after the changes). My original config.sys didn't have the line.

  24. For the reference, I ran the timer.cmd posted days ago here on 386DX/20MHz
  25. with 8M RAM (80ns). Video card is BOCA SVGA (ET 4000 based) with 512K. 
  26. I am using 640x480x256 provided by the CSD.
  27. (The hard disk is Conner 3204P (16m sec), if necessary to know.)
  28. The timer.cmd result is: 
  29. for windowed session, time=342.130
  30. for full screen session, time=28.810

  32. I also noticed that it is faster when the window is not focused. May be due to
  33. less re-drawing?

  35. In my case, problem is specific to PMTERM. Since I cannot maximize it to
  36. the full screen, my connection to the main frame through serial port at
  37. 9600 baud looks like a 1200 baud modem connection. Does anyone know any
  38. remedy for this.
