  32. Check to make sure that DELDIR in \AUTOEXEC.BAT is not unREM'med.
  33.  
  34. I would also check cache settings in CONFIG.SYS.  DISKCACHE controls
  35. the FAT cache size (and whether lazy writes are enabled).
