- When I use Qmodem, I notice that pulse is set to 100 % CPU usage. This is
- to be expected if qmodem is doing keyboard polling (which I assume it does).
- I also notice, however, that even after I terminate qmodem the pulse line
- quivers for a little bit and settles in at about the 75 % usage mark. Nothing
- else is active, just the WPS, pulse, and the system clock. This happens both
- in GA and with the beta.

- Has anyone else experienced similar problems? It looks as if I may have to
- use one of those killem programs to get rid of the qmodem threads that are
- left hanging around. Any suggestions?
