- I have a 386-25 w/ 8meg RAM, No probs here. You may find that HD space could
- be a problem. This is not the case with for I have a large enough HD. One
- nice thing about OS/2 is that increasing Ram will increase performace more
- than upgrading the processor (those are IBM's words).

- OS/2 Doesn't really know what to do with the dos config.sys and autoexec.bat
- files. I wouldn't worry about it. Fact is that the you will modify your
- autoexec.bat file later so that you will have everything set up the way you
- like it when you get completely set up.

- Again, don't worry about it. Although I think that OS/2 works better if it
- is in a HPFS partition verses FAT. Also, the 256 char filenames are much
- cooler than the 8+3 that we are used to in DOS. I am sorry by unix exposed
- me to filenames longer than 8+3 and now I can't go back.

- Unless you have any problems, don't touch a thing.

- You can use pulse for a nice graphic representation, but you must remember,
- since OS/2 swaps to disk apps that are not active, it will seem that you have
- more memory than you really do.

-
- Number of apps open is determined by the amount of free HD space that OS/2 can
- use to swap the stuff. For all practical purposes - it is infinite.
