  17. Now for the real issue of being able to run programs if the executable flag
  18. is set, no matter what extention they have, if any at all... 4os2 does it.
  19. I haven't tested this very thoroughly at all, but I've tried renaming an
  20. executable to just it's base name and no extention, and if the executable
  21. flag was set, it could still be executed from 4os2. I think CMD.EXE did not
  22. execute the program. I don't remember if 4os2 executed the program regardless
  23. of the executable flag (that is, took a chance that it might be executable).
