- I have been following flopticals for exactly this reason... So much so
- that I have badgered the author of FlexiBack Plus to begin work on an OS/2
- version, just for flopticals (and less dense floppys, too).

- Nonetheless, I got some info from a company in Silicon Valley about their
- $399 external floptical drive, controller and 5 media package deal. On
- calling them I found out:

- - the drive can be used as B: or (D: through Z:) because

- - you must have a driver loaded to make the drive visable, but

- - there is no OS/2 driver available "at this time" with no hints as to
- whether it will ever be available.
