- The file '386spart.par' is the Windows permanent swapfile. I'm not sure
- why it's corrupt, though. I believe the swapfile is labelled 'corrupted'
- when the swapfile and Windows version aren't the same (e.g., upgrading
- Windows on the system without deleting the old swapfile), but this isn't
- the only reason for 'corruption.' You can try erasing it (as you've
- already done) then re-installing it. Windows looks for a large contiguous
- block of space on the hard disk; if you're running on FAT, then defragment-
- ing the disk before re-creating the swapfile is a good idea. To re-create
- the swapfile, run 'swapfile' via the File-->Run menu option.
