  16. What is the "black icon" problem? I might have had that happen to me tonight.
  17. I booted OS/2, and all of the icons were in black and white. When I clicked
  18. on them, they turned to color. I shut down and rebooted, and everything is
  19. fine.
  20. On a possibly related note, I reinstalled Windoze last night, since my 
  21. previous installation was 20MB (I need it to run Mathematica for Windoze
  22. over our network server) and I wanted to cut it down to the bare minimum.
  23. I ran it tonight, and got some problem with a corrupt swap file. I also
  24. found a file called "386spart.par" that showed up in my root dir that was
  25. ~9MB big! I wiped it immediately.

  27. Does any of what I just said make any sense or go together at all?
