- Gee, sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. In fairness,
- here is a message from the other side of OS/2 life...
-
- I upgraded my system from OS/2 1.3 (dual boot with DOS 5.0) to
- OS/2 2.0 (also dual boot and DOS 5.0), FAT file systems,
- Windows 3.0, SIX months ago. I have not booted DOS for 5.5 months.
- OS/2 2.0 has not crashed once, has not done anything unexpected and
- I have not installed any of the IBM 'bug fixes' yet.
-
- I have successfully: edited a file, printed a document, xcopy'ed
- from floppy to floppy and had a uupc session running at 38Kbaud,
- ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
-
- I must admit, I don't run any Windows programs every often, but
- I have had no problems there either.
-
- I know there are others out there with similar stories to tell --
- I know some of them!
