- There really are quite a few people who happily use OS/2 with no trouble.
- I for one have not had any trouble at all since I installed the service pack.
- I believe that this has a lot to do with very fortunate choices of hardware
- when I purchased my system (way before I had ever decided to go OS/2).
- My rig at this point:
- AMI 386DX/40 with 8M DRAM
- 1 105M Teac HD
- 1 135M Segate HD
- BOCA SVGA ET4000 video w/1M
- and of course floppy drives, soundblaster 2.0, and a cabletron fiber optic
- ethernet card.
-
- I was epecially lucky to buy a video card that IBM explicitly supports. Most
- of the problems I have seen have been video related....
-
- just my 2.0*10^-2 dollars worth...
