- This morning I attempted to install an ati vantage card. everything was
- going along well until I made the mistake of trying to load the 1.3 drivers.
-
- while doing so I reconfigured the card somewhat and added a bunch of new
- files to my config.sys. when I rebooted, it first complained about one
- of the files I had added then said it couldn't find country.sys.
-
- at this point I have fixed everything but the country.sys. when booting
- it comes up with the message that it can't find the file country.sys in
- c:\os2\system. Yet when I look there, there it is. I tried moving the file
- and pointing the line in the config.sys file to another directory, still
- got the same message. I tried rem on the line hoping that it might default,
- fat chance, all it said was it couldn't find the file in the c:\ directory.
-
- I think I am being led astray by this error message but I have no idea what
- to do next. If anyone can help I will be extremely grateful.
-
- Thanks,
-
