- I recently repartitioned my harddisk into 3 partitions (with
- Boot Manager taking up the 4th partition). Each partition is about
- 200MB in size. The first partition boots to give DOS 5.0, the second
- partition boots to OS/2.
-
- The third partition (E:) is also DOS, but the computer refuses to boot
- from it after I select it from the Boot Manager menu. The screen goes
- blank, and the machine hangs. This happens even if I remove the
- config.sys and autoexec.bat. All partitions are FAT. I've ensured that
- the command.com, Io.sys and Msdos.sys are all properly installed
- with Norton Disktools (and used SYS as well for good measure).
-
- Can someone please give some pointers ? Thank You.
