  19. They are supported, but for data-only.  There is no audio CD support
  20. for these drives yet.  You will need CDROM_G.SYS in order to use these
  21. NEC drives under OS/2 2.0, which is a generic CD-ROM driver (available
  22. via anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu).  We have a NEC CDR83, which
  23. is the internal version of the NEC CDR84, and it works just fine under
  24. OS/2 2.0 with CDROM_G.

  26. Full support for the NEC CDR84 and the CDR74 (including audio CD support)
  27. is supposed to be coming in later CSDs/versions of OS/2 2.0.
