- I have posted several times that when I run win-os2, my video output
- of vio sessions is screwed. Well, thanks to duffy@theory.chem.ubc.ca
- I was able to fix the problem. So, for those of you suffering from
- this awful win-os2 related bug type thing, write this down.
- Change all the settings (for fullscreen separate sessions--this assumes
- you are using the ATI Graphics Ultra in 8514/a mode and IBM drivers) for
- your win-os2 programs, and win-os2 fullscreen so that
-
- VIDEO_SWITCH_NOTIFICATION is set from OFF to ON
- VIDEO_8514_XGA_IOTRAP is set from ON to OFF
- VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION is set from ON to OFF
-
- and, majic (or magic, whatever), the vio session aren't corrupted any
- longer. AND, an added bonus. The graphics speed of the win-os2 sessions
- is really really (I mean really) boosted.
-
- Thanks to duffy@theory for this again!!!!!
-
- Go change those settings, and *really* multitask..... :)
