  19. Actually, it's OS/2 I believe./ I have a 486/33 with 256K ram cache, 24
  20. Meg RAM. That's one step away from the fastest machines around almost. I
  21. have got my DOS scrolling speeds in windows down to an acceptable level but
  22. my OS/2 scrolling is still 10 times slower [I mean _10_ times slower here.
  23. 4 seconds for DOS window, 41 for OS/2 to scroll 128 lines of text (0.78 in
  24. a full screen)]

  26. I am using 800x600x256 and all fonts are 8 wide (same font for OS/2 and
  27. DOS windows). In DOS I turned off the EMULATION of VIDEO functions but OS/2
  28. doesn't have such a setting.
