  26. You should try booting from an OS/2 boot disk, and running chkdsk drv: /f:3
  27. as described in the FAQ list.

  29. If the /f:3 option doesn't help, you may be in some deep trouble.
  30. There was a problem IBM described, where the HPFS pointer trees became
  31. corrupted, and the reccommended action was a complete reformat using the
  32. Service pack. Contact IBM if you are in this deep. (I'll let IBM handle
  33. it, without giving others on the net an opportunity to form a false and
  34. negative impression)
