  21. Just a thought.  Have you checked your comm port by "mode com?"?
  22. Have you checked to see if COM.SYS and VCOM.SYS are included in
  23. your config.sys?  After I installed SP, the new config.sys does
  24. not include COM.SYS and VCOM.SYS which caused some wierd problem.
  25. After putting these two lines or re-install by choosing serial
  26. device support in selective install, everything works again.
