  18. It depends. IDE drives are not served by DMA and thus can swap even
  19. above 16MB. I have tested it and it works: when i have 16MB, 4os2
  20. reports 5MB free after bootup. After installing 24MB, 4os2 reports
  21. 13MB free memory. This was after applying the gt16MB patch and
  22. continued to work after the SP.
