  18. Problem solved!  It turns out that our new 486/50s had an IDE Plus Controller
  19. card by BOCA Reserach Inc.  This card was causing us printing problems under
  20. OS/2 and the Vendor supplied us with new cards from BOCA to fix the printer
  21. problems under OS/2.  The new card also fixed the install problems with the
  22. Service Pack!  These cards supply the Parallel print port, the serial port,
  23. the second serial port, hard drive controller, and floppy drive controller.
  24. I would guess there was some problem with the floppy that the Service Pack
  25. didn't like.  Odd but the GA install disks booted fine.
