- .. Well, my friend said I'm the only one in the whole world that has
- serious problems with the SP... so let's see...
-
- The SP is driving me nuts! The installation seemed to take forever,
- and after the reboot, I discovered that my DOS windowed sessions
- behaved wildly. First I discovered, as i pressed ALT-HOME, the screen
- went totally wacko! It turned into a blank screen with several
- flashing color "bars" with letters in them -- kinda like when i
- switched into the wrong video mode. Making that guess, I tye SVM (set
- video mode program) to switch mode to VGA, and that fixed the screen
- -- altho after pressiong ctrl-esc the WPS was a total mess (easily
- correctly by refresh tho) Ok, so that made the dos window/full screen
- look fine, except shortly after it ALT-HOME refused to work! The same
- ting happens everytime i boot up the system. I installed GA with
- regular vga driver. I suppose I could fix the dos screen and live w/o
- alt-home, but this is the _SERVICE_ Pak, and it sucks big time. Oh
- yeah I've installed SP several times, including different copies of
- it. HELP!!!
-
- Thanks in advance
