  26. Unfortunately, Mr. Charlap has been promulgating incorrect information on
  27. comp.os.os2.misc.  As Alok Dhir first reported....

  29. DO NOT USE DPINSTL.EXE TO INSTALL THE ET4000 DRIVERS!!!

  31. I hate to scream like this, but this misinformation is being perpetuated.
  32. Use the selective install and do exactly what it tells you to do -- eventually,
  33. it will get you to the Service Pack's driver diskettes.  If you don't install
  34. it correctly, parts of your display will look shitty and your system will
  35. be unstable because you are missing important parts of the video output
  36. system (like fonts).
