- David,
-
- Check the WINOS2 settings for the program object you created for the
- Windows application you're trying to run seamless. You may find that
- the CLI pathname does not have a "/p" parameter after it. If not,
- add it. This was what kept seamless from working on my desktop until
- I corrected it.
-
- Due to the way I customized my system, the SHELL pathname I set in the
- CONFIG.SYS files does not have a "/p" parameter. I'm using 4DOS as my
- MSDOS CLI and I have been putting the "/p" along with the directory
- pathname containing the 4DOS.INI file I want each particular program
- to use in the arguments field in the settings notebooks of my DOS
- program objects. This allows me to have per-program customizations
- of the 4DOS environment, if I want. Actually, I only have two custom-
- ized environments now, one for MSDOS sessions and the other for WINOS2.
-
- I realize that this may not have been the best or only way to do this,
- but it is a way I found which works. I ask that anyone who wants to
- advise me of any alternatives, they have discovered to be kind -- no
- need to flame if there's a better way.
-
- I only just discovered the need for the "/p" because I have not been
- able to run seamless WINOS2 before the advent of the new ET4000 drivers
- and I didn't use WINOS2 full screen much, either.
-
- Good luck and hope this helps,
- Larry
