  28.   I've just started following this thread, but your way of doing thing   
  29. seems to take care of most of the problems which everyone else's
  30. implementations are plagued by.  To be specific, if one uses the shredder
  31. to kill the current instance of the trashcan and all of the files within,
  32. then os/2 should take care of properly deleting all of the shadows,
  33. hidden objects, normal objects, whatever!
  34.  
  35.   The only problem to take care of is actually to REMOVE some
  36. functionality.  The menu item for emptying the trashcan will, until we
  37. figure out how to properly get rid of all of the above-mentioned obj's,
  38. not work correctly so just _remove_this_MAL-functional_functionality_ and
  39. we should have a FULLY functional trashcan.

  41.   Yeah, I know that one has to "tear one off the pad" to replace the
  42. dearly departed most-recently-shredded-trashcan, but hey!  This takes
  43. care of all of our problems so it seems a small price to pay.  If there
  44. are any holes in this idea I would like someone to bring them up.
  45. Otherwise, I think Douglas you have come up with a winning idea, whether
  46. or not you realized it!
