  31. - As for the seamless window, you are correct and I don't expect the support
  32.   soon (if ever).  Why?  Seamless windows support must directly access the
  33.   onboard VGA adapter for each system.  The 8514/A also directly accesses the
  34.   onboard VGA adapter for each system.  The 8514/A has write only registers
  35.   that make "multitasking" between drivers which directly change the 8514/A
  36.   and VGA adapter very interesting.

  38.   This is not to say it is impossible.  From what I can observe, IBM is make
  39.   a business decision as to the level of support the 8514/A receives.  There
  40.   are many features, fixes, and enhancements that will deliever large OS/2
  41.   sales.

  43.   IMHO (and as an 8514/A owner), I must agree with OS/2.  Putting resourcess
  44.   into getting more OS/2 sales is more important than 8514/A support.
  45.   Hopefully, the work will level off, the headcount will go up, etc., and
  46.   IBM will have the resources to do both items.
