- 1. I am having a problem with my speedstar plus video board running at high
- resolutions. I want to use the ET-4000 '1024x768' driver but my monitor
- must be in sync before i enter the graphical environment. To run
- windows I used to run the program 'VMODE monitor' to set my video at
- 70hz and then enter windows. I use the monitor switch in the command
- because of my gateway 2000 monitor.
- Question: How can I run vmode.com prior to entering the os2 environment?
- Or is there another way to get high res?
-
- 2. Is it possible to have os2 recognize my sydos 44 meg removable drive.
- I only have an 8 bit scsi controller, I've heard the 16 bit one works.
- I've tried the IBMINT13.I13 driver it does nothing. I've also tried
- a virtual dos window to no avail. Are there drivers that might help me
- if so were can I obtain them.
- Question: Are there drivers for the sydos 44 removable w/ 8bit scsi controller?
-
- If you could could you please email me responses.
- I will post any workable solutions if demand is high.
- Thanks in advance, John
