- I just thought I would let folks know of the little adventure I had
- recently with the new windows program Freeze Frame. I installed
- Freeze Frame (refered to as FF from here on) under a WInos2 session
- on the beta not too long ago and noticed an unusual problem after a
- while, that did not initially seem to be connected at all. The command
- reference and help no longer functioned at all. Upon finally just
- opening the information folder I noticed that the command reference icon
- had been replaced with the butterfly w/magnifying glass icon of the FF
- program View.exe. Just so happens that the command refernce program is
- also named View.exe. Instead of installing the Graphic viewer program in the
- proper FF subdirectory, it installed it into the OS2 subdirectory containing
- View.exe. As this seems to be a flaw that is NOT beta dependent I would
- warn ya folks to make a copy of the view.exe file under a different name, do the
- installation, move the New View.exe to the appropriate directory, and then
- restore the command reference View.exe to its original place. I have done
- this and everything works fine :)

- P.S. I let IBM know so if anyone calls them it should be in their database
