- I've had the same problems, but even with an SZ date 9-16-92 (not
- sure if this reflects the date of the code, or just the date it was
- compiled here though). There are three machines to pick from here, but
- the slowest one - a Microvax - seems to be the only one which I can
- get transfers going through from. Even it's a bit shakey, but I discovered
- accidentally that loading up the processor while a file transfer starts
- gets me past the 'NO RESPONSE' problem after a little while.
- Oh, this is on a 486/33 with 8mb ram, and an ATI2400etc modem. Not
- sure what's on the Unix side exactly. I suspect the problems are related
- to latency in the Unix box's response to any TE/2 requests.
