- Now you can have the best, i.e., the GNU tar. The latest version (1.11.1)
- comes ready with makefiles for emx/GCC for OS/2 and various DOS compilers,
- so that should answer both your questions. You can get it from, e.g., prep.
- ai.mit.edu. You can also get GNU tar for DOS and OS/2 from hobes.nmsu.edu.
- There is a 32 bit version for OS/2 2.0 and 16 bit version that runs under
- both DOS and OS/2. You can also get emx/GCC from the same site. As far as
- I know, the Microsoft and Borland C compilers for DOS aren't available for
- ftp.
