- Sounds like you're still running the OS/2 boot program (the hidden files
- which receive control during boot). Try rebuilding the boot process on the
- hard disk by booting from a DOS floppy, then issuing the command:

- SYS C:

- which will rebuild the boot sector program and place the necessary
- hidden files (IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS) on your C: drive.

- Also, make sure that all the OS/2 hidden files actually were deleted. OS/2
- has a few files which will confuse certain commands because their filenames
- include embedded blanks.
