  27. Sounds like you're still running the OS/2 boot program (the hidden files
  28. which receive control during boot).  Try rebuilding the boot process on the
  29. hard disk by booting from a DOS floppy, then issuing the command:

  33. which will rebuild the boot sector program and place the necessary
  34. hidden files (IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS) on your C: drive.
  35.  
  36. Also, make sure that all the OS/2 hidden files actually were deleted.  OS/2
  37. has a few files which will confuse certain commands because their filenames
  38. include embedded blanks.
