- Hi,
-
- i tried to install AmiPro 3.0 on my OS/2 2.0+SP yesterday. After some
- problems with Help, missing DLLs atc. AmiPro came up finally. I tried
- a simple list with tabs like this
-
-
- article 1 xxx
- article 1 yyy
- article 1 description long zzz
-
- On screen, it looked like the list above. But it was printd like this:
-
- article 1 xxx
- article 1 yyy
- article 1 description long zzz
-
- So the font metrics for my deskjet were not the same as on screen.
- Now I wonder: where is the WYSIWYG for AmiPro 3.0? I used
- the TmsRmn font, because TimesRomanPS were printed as Courier
- (some more broken WYSIWYG or what?) on my Deskjet.
-
- I know something about fonts (I guess so), and if AmiPro uses the ATM
- on screen for anything, why does it try to use the printer font
- for printing. There are always problem with metrics if you use
- it this way.
-
- Any ideas why Lotus did this bad job on AmiPro?
