  11. There is a patch out from Autodesk to update the pharlap DOS extender
  12. to allow AutoCAD R12 to run in a full screen DOS window.  It is BETA
  13. and also requires that the service pack for OS/2 be installed.

  15. I have just started to use it and it seems to work.  It did hang OS/2
  16. when I tried to go back to the WPS (with autoCAD still running) by
  17. using ctrl-esc but I may have the autocad screen drivers not set
  18. right.  I am using 8514 1024x768 resolution.  The speed of autocad
  19. seemed pretty good, possibly no different from DOS, but I have done no
  20. real benchmarks yet.

  22. I put the patch on hobbes under /pub/uploads.  It is file os2acad.zip.
