- I have a strange problem which has popped up twice in the past several
- days. After the system has been up for a while, while I am d/ling in
- the background with TE/2, after I have been wasting time with assorted
- Windows games, attempting to switch back to my full-screen TE/2
- seesion puts me at a fake full-screen DOS session. I say fake because
- commands that I give go through to TE/2. I also verified this by
- starting up a fill screen OS/2 session. On the screen I get the DOS
- session, but I hear my unregistered copy of 4os/2, and typing exit
- gets me back to the wps.
-
- Does this sound familiar?
-
- For reference, I am running GA with no fixes (the CSD is what I have
- been d/ling during this "instances"). The system is a 486-50, ATI
- Graphics Vantage, AMI BIOS, 16 mb RAM, Zoom V.32bis modem. My mouse
- is on a Logitech card, not on the Vantage. Note that my Vantage has
- been having problems recently, the VGA Wonder is going, but I don't
- think that this is the problem.
-
- this is a fairly fresh (re)installation of OS/2 after an mb upgrade,
- the addition of a 2nd hd, and a modem change (the Zoom for a USR
- Courier HST), but before, I had no problems along these lines.
-
- My systems has another bobble which I don't think is related, namely
- a mouse problem in some DOS sessions (some programs which
- recognize my mouse under DOS won't recognize it or do strange things
- with it under OS/2-DOS).
-
- Thanks,
-
