  11.     A WP rep dropped by my store yesterday to give us a demp of WP
  12.     Demonstrations.

  14.     He was a well informed man who was giving us a real push about the 'new'
  15.     *upgrade* for DOS/WIN 5.2.

  17.     As my bosses devoured his every word (Lehigh sites WP, adn sells a lot of
  18.     Windows copies...God know's why), I sat patiently, ready to inquire about
  19.     OS/2.

  21.     I got the impression that WP for OS/2 will be out at least a quater after
  22.     WP 6.0. IT seems that teh DOS 6.0 version should 'knock our socks off'. He
  23.     wouldn't let the cat out of the bag, but look for a GIU, and integration
  24.     for graphics with WP Presentations.

  26.     So, there will be know 5.2 for OS/2 (Heck, there never was a 5.1). 6.0
  27.     should be out within 9 months, with full 32 bit capabilities.

  29.     I could not get out of him why production is lagging. He hinted that a PM
  30.     version of WP could possibly aslo incorporate WP PResentations right into
  31.     WP 6.0 for OS/2. That would be a step in the right direction.

  33.     Keep in mind these are assumptions derived from his answers and attitude.
  34.     The only pure fact I have is upcoming 5.2 releases, and teh emminent GUI
  35.     6.0 version for DOS.

  37.     Too bad...I guess I will have to continue usend Word 2.0, that is until I
  38.     can get my hands Describe 4.0 (3.0 demo is way crippled to give a
  39.     resonable test too).
