- As far as I know I was one of the first to report the problems, (and I'm
- still recovering data and programs as I discover the lesser used ones I
- thought I had on the system). I do NOT have emx or gcc on my system, yet,
- as I don't do C or C++ programming (yet, I'm trying to learn). I had no
- versions of EMX.DLL or any other EMX related DLLs in any directory on my
- system. As I test programs before moving them to the archives I put the
- required DLL in the proper directory and then test the program, then I
- delete the DLL's. I am very short no space, so I don't let things sit around
- unless I can actively use it, and so far I haven't needed any of the programs
- that use the EMX DLLs, so the programs sit off-line on floppies.
- My system is set up so that under my utilities I have a LIB,
- BIN, HELP, and one other (DATA I think) which are included in the config.sys
- for each assicated path so I can simply put DLL's in the directories as
- needed to test software. I moved the supplied DLL's from the distributed
- (again this is the GS252PM.ZIP as distributed in C.B.OS2). That meaning the
- ONLY emx DLL's on my system were FROM GS252PM.ZIP. I read the README.1st,
- and other files so that I could set it up and install it.

- I'm glad it works for you, but it doesn't for me (and I wish it did, so I
- could try and read some of these ps files I have in some archives).
-
- Any other ideas? I'm wary to try GSos2pm10 after what happened to me, did
- anyone whose system crashed as a result of running GSos2PM try GSos2PM10
- yet? I'd be interested in hearing your responses. I can't be a guinny (sp?)
- again, I can't afford the loss of time it takes to redo the system again.
- If no one has, perhaps I will try again in a couple of months when things
- slow down for me...
