- I got nearly the same response from them. About 5 people in Mathworks were
- copied to on the reply to me. We had ordered and received the Windows version
- and we complained bitterly about the use of 386 Enhanced mode. Their response
- "Sorry, we can only make our program run in 386 Enhanced mode, the good news is
- OS/2 2.1 will support 386 Enhanced mode. Yours is the first request for OS/2 2.0
- support, we have no plans to support OS/2 2.0 and since we are a 32-bit program
- already, our performance under OS/2 2.x will be nearly the same as we are under
- Windows." This is NOT an exact quote, I used the quote marks for emphasis.
-
- Lets keep the heat on. Please, even those of you who may have little or no
- interest in MatLab or any other MathWorks products, please help the rest of
- us out. Send email to info@mathworks.com requesting that they support OS/2
- 2.0 ASAP.
