  20. We recently got the J version of DOS Matlab which is working quite well under
  21. OS/2 (the company does not officially stand behind this however). Anyway, we
  22. told the folks at MathWorks that we _really_ hated MS-Windows and that we
  23. would _really_ like an OS/2 version and they said that there were _really_
  24. ten times as many MS-Windows users as OS/2 users and that they had absolutely
  25. no plans to do an OS/2 version. they also said that they had to work _very_
  26. closely with MS in order to get MatLab to work at all and they were very
  27. discouraging about getting it to run under OS/2 (but they also made no claims
  28. about version J working either so I don't know).
