  26. You missed the point.  Microsoft does not go around forcing vendors into
  27. including either DOS and/or Windows.  Given that there's even
  28. competition for plain old DOS, a decision by, say, Gateway to bundle
  29. MS-DOS and Windows is an intentional one, probably seen as a way of
  30. offering functionality customers will want.  (Or do you think all those
  31. vendors offer DOS/Windows because they want to tick off their
  32. customers?)  It seems that MS makes the bargain stick to an entire
  33. product line (so that customers cannot selectively choose not to get
  34. either DOS and/or Windows), but if you don't like that you can choose
  35. another vendor.
