  17.     I am still trying to get my modem to work under OS/2.  It
  18. seems that i have no com.sys file, either mentioned in my os2
  19. config.sys, or even on my entire os/2 partition!!!!  I am running a
  20. regular version of OS/2 2.0 with a service pack on top of it.
  21. Interestingly, my modem  *will* work in a DOS session under OS/2 2.0,
  22. but I lose plenty of characters....

  24.     How can I get these files installed so that my modem can
  25. work?!  I certainly don't want to install the whole  thing again --
  26. indeed, I have no idea why they aren't there in the first place!

  28.     Would it work if somebody uuencoded the file and sent it to
  29. me, or is it system-specific?
