- I would like to have the calendar app. from the accessories group open
- automatically when I enter windows. This can be done by just dragging
- the icon into the startup group. The problem, however, is I'd like
-
- (1) a particular calendar file opened each time, as opposed to
- defaulting to the empty "untitled" one.
-
- (2) the "monthly" view enabled, again as opposed to the default
- "daily" one.
-
- I've checked the manual and it does not discuss either of these two points,
- or at least I couldnt find it 8-).
-
- Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
-
- Thanks in advance,

- This will help solve problem #1 above.
-
- 1. Click on the Calendar icon in the startup group.
- 2. Click [File] menu in the Program Manager window.
- 3. Click Properties. The command line entry should show CALENDAR.EXE.
- 4. Edit the command line entry to include your desired calendar filename,
- e.g. CALENDAR.EXE yourcal.cal.
-
- I have not tried additional command line switches such as would be required
- for problem #2. However, the above solution works for me.
-
- Good Luck,
-
