- I was running DR DOS 6.0 under Win3.1 and had to reinstall.
-
- Now, when I run Win3.1 I have to set up using /WINSTD on the EMM386.SYS
- provided with DR DOS 6.0, meaning all my TSRs now have to load low.
-
- I am using 4DOS 4.01 with DR DOS 6.0 and the EMM386.SYS provided.
-
- I get an error saying something to the effect "Windows was not able to find
- a file it needed to start in 386 Enhanced Mode. Then it prints
- C:\DRDOS\EMM386.SYS and after that, "The performance of Windows will not
- be affected."
-
- If I don't have the /WINSTD turned on, it quits. AARRGHHH!
-
- With /WINSTD in place I have 455k of free memory. Without I have about 610k.
- It used to work for me, where am I going wrong?
