  11. My Win3.0 installation works fine, but my Win3.1 upgrade randomly
  12. halts w/ a white-on-blue "system halted parity errors" message
  13. onscreen.  I have re-loaded my Win3.0 & it runs fine even when
  14. stressed with something like 3 rows of icons worth of programs
  15. started, incl. lots of graphics display programs.  I re-upgraded my
  16. Win3.1 upgrade & get more parity error system halts.  Re-upgrading
  17. with a friend's Win3.1 disks does the same thing.

  19. I have low-level formatted my disk, have plenty of disk space, run all
  20. the diagnostics I have -- DiskManager that came with my Seagate disk.
  21. (I don't have a copy of CheckIt yet, unfortunately.)

  23. Forgot to bring in the important manuals, but my config is something
  24. like:

  26. motherboard:     DTK 386-20 "Fast20" w/ 1 meg on board
  27. RAM board:    DTK 32-bit bus w/ 8 meg
  28. disk cont:    DTC 7728(?) RLL w/ floppy cont.
  29. disks:        2 277-r Seagate 62 meg.
  30. video:        ATI VGA Wonder w/ 512k (I have 3.1 drivers)
