- I would suggest dumping SmartDrive and getting something serious like
- HyperDisk or Norton Cache. They're much faster (IMHO) and a little more
- configurable. Regardless, the optimum size of a cache is around 2M -
- otherwise a lot of time is spent looking through the cache for data.

- Yes! But don't! There is *no* advantage in putting your temporary files in
- a RAM drive (in fact Microsoft recommend against it), as you are using
- memory to give swap space. Also, the amount of space on a RAM drive is
- more limited than your average hard drive... 8-)

- It would be more efficient (and faster, probably) to leave your swap
- files on your hard drive and keep your memory for memory.
