  21.     I have the same problem with the STB Wind/X card at 1024x768. Are
  22. other S3 cards having the same problem? For now its also plain old VGA for 
  23. me

  25.      I have a greater concern. When I switched to 1024x768 I could no longer
  26. see anything. Since the NT setup is 100% graphical I had no choice than
  27. reinstalling ALL of NT. Windows 3.1 does not have this problem since
  28. it supplies a character based setup.exe. It has been very useful in the past.
  29.      Is MicroSoft considering such character based (probably DOS based)
  30. setup program to at least get you out of corners.
