- I have the same problem with the STB Wind/X card at 1024x768. Are
- other S3 cards having the same problem? For now its also plain old VGA for
- me

- I have a greater concern. When I switched to 1024x768 I could no longer
- see anything. Since the NT setup is 100% graphical I had no choice than
- reinstalling ALL of NT. Windows 3.1 does not have this problem since
- it supplies a character based setup.exe. It has been very useful in the past.
- Is MicroSoft considering such character based (probably DOS based)
- setup program to at least get you out of corners.
