  13. I have several questions:

  15.     1) Is there any NT users groups in Northern California (Bay Area)?

  17.     2) Where is the best site to get public domain software for NT?
  18.  
  19.     3) Have GNU tools been ported to NT? If yes where can I find them?

  21.     4) I am new in the world of PC and Microsoft, and I have to write a
  22.        graphics application and a scanner driver for NT. Please recommend
  23.        any good books which I should read about PC hardware, software and
  24.        programming (I prefer advance books).  I have the SDK beta, DDk,
  25.            and inside NT.  I like to use Microsoft Class Foundation for my app.

  27.     5) Has vi (editor) been ported to NT? If yes where can I find it.

  29.     6) Has anybody ported any code from Unix?  Was there any surprises?
