  14. I'm trying to work this out on Compuserve but am having little luck.

  16. I can "net use" my LM/X 1.3 machine from DOS Lan Manager just
  17. fine with MSFT's latest TCP/IP code for Windows.
  18.  
  19. And the DOS machine also can "net use" the WNT machine just fine.
  20.  
  21. But when WNT does "net use g: \\hpmachine\share", it locks up solid
  22. and "nothing was stirring not even a mouse"!

  24. After clearing my event log and doing "net use g: \\hpmachine\share"
  25. the log has one significant event in it possibly related to my WNT
  26. freezing up solid:
