  14. Sorry to repeat the question but the information has scrolled off our
  15. archives. I remember seeing a post here that there are bad troubles
  16. with some levels of microcode on some IBM scsi adapters. I think I
  17. have one. The symptoms are that I get through the first batch of
  18. copying from the CD and it then says "read error - install a new disk"
  19. or some similar remark. I had the July release installed and am
  20. successfully restoring it but I cannot get the October release to
  21. install.
