- As I stated earlier, this solution does work, but unfortunately you
- can't run any of the MediaVision tools (e.g., mixer, Promixer, pocket
- mixer, pocket recorder) to control the soundcard. If you do try to run
- one of these tools, NT detects a dynamic link error, and halts until you
- use Ctrl-Alt-Enter to get to a menu where you can kill the offending
- task.
-
- Does anyone know of a way to control the MediaVision ProAudio 16
- soundcard when it's emulating the SoundBlaster? Being able to control
- the volume would be helpful. Also, has anyone discovered a way to
- properly initialize the MediaVision soundcard for use with NT, other
- than booting DOS first?
-
- Thanx.
