- I have to agree with the messages that preceeded this one (not included due
- to their size) that many people have gone GUI crazy. I myself am a User
- Interface designer & implementor. Notice how I used UI not GUI, I'll admit
- many of the applications I have created do have a graphical UI but they
- also have a proceedural interface as well.

- What most people who are charged with delivering a user interface for an
- appliation forget is that they are supposed to make the application easier
- for everyone to use, not just novices. This does not mean that GUI's are
- for novices only. Quite the contrary, I have designed several applications
- that don't even begin to take advantage of a GUI until the user has become
- an expert with the system.

- attempts out there...
